Profiles and Countries

The properties of a vehicle are stored in a profile. The vehicle properties, such as height and weight, are considered when the best way between two stops is calculated. In the Sequence Optimization service only the defined reference profiles are supported. Not all profiles are available in all countries.

Note: If no reference profile has been selected, and if the majority of locations are in the Americas, USA_1_PICKUP is used as the default. Otherwise EUR_VAN is used as the default. In difference to the Routing service, the values of the attributes of the individual reference profiles cannot be changed.

World profile

Profile	Description
BICYCLE	Non-motorized bicycle modeled as a courier or performing service. Sequence optimization is limited to 25 km direct distance between any two locations.
BICYCLE_OSM	This profile is in an experimental state and may change at any time. Non-motorized bicycle modeled as a courier or performing service. Maximum speed = 20km/h Sequence optimization is limited to 100 km direct distance between any two locations.
CARGO_BICYCLE_OSM	This profile is in an experimental state and may change at any time. Electric cargo bicycle performing service. Maximum speed = 23km/h Sequence optimization is limited to 100 km direct distance between any two locations.
CAR_OSM	This profile is in an experimental state and may change at any time. Typical passenger car.
SEMITRAILER_OSM	This profile is in an experimental state and may change at any time. Typical 40t semi-trailer truck (Euro-tractor) with 5 axles consisting of tractor with 2 or 3 axles but no loading area and semi-trailer with 2 or 3 axles.
